Pollution from the bellicose sound of temples in Bangalore: Notice by police
The religious charity department has already issued notices to several temples in Bangalore.
Big Bang Ganapathi Temple in Bengaluru has been notified by a police station to a large Ganapathi temple complex. In this backdrop, the executive of the big Ganpati Group of Temples in Basavanagudi has warned against the sound of a high bell.
It is said that despite the indication, a high-pitched noise can be registered in the hour.
Sound should not be emitted by amplifiers. The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has issued a notification for the use of music instruments that are no more than the decibel noise level specified in the Noise Pollution Control (Amendment) Act 2010, Environmental Protection Act, 1986.
The charity department has already issued notices to several temples, including Kalasipalya Anjaneya Temple in Bangalore, Karanji Anjaneya Temple and Valiyangapathy Temple.
